The June 2019 issue of “Avian Advice” from the University of Arkansas offers us advice for keeping our broiler chickens cool while conserving water. Their solution involves implementing a sprinkler system but do you know the difference between sprinklers and foggers? To put it simply, sprinklers directly cool the chickens by creating “artificial sweat” while foggers cool the air surrounding the chickens.
